The service was friendlier and better equipped than I expected, with sumptuous wine options and great WiFi. I’m glad I tried the place, though I wouldn’t come back. There’s not enough foliage between the cabins for privacy, and the canvas doesn’t insulate well, so it gets cold at night and hot in the daytime. The lining inside also made the space dusty. I’m very sensitive to dust, though it may be fine for most people. The large open area isn’t ideal for sharing with friends, but could work for a couple or small family.

One dome had a party going until 4:30am, which is a poor fit for a place meant for peace and relaxation. The pool was being worked on and unusable when we arrived. They said it had broken the day before, but hadn’t let us know. When I raised my concerns, they sent a cheese platter and wine instead of addressing them, which felt unprofessional. You can open the dome tops to look at the “sky,” but they were so dirty I couldn’t see anything. It’s a nice place, just not worth the price.

If you need a good night’s rest, this is definitely the wrong place. A new party hall seems to be right beside the glampings, and the loud music went on all night. When I asked the concierge to do something, he said this happens and there was nothing he could do, though I could call the police. Nobody answered, and we were left alone with the mess. Awful experience.

We felt like we were begging for a service that cost $250 a day. The place felt abandoned, the facilities were outdated, and staff showed little empathy or willingness to fix anything. I told them we were on our honeymoon and explained the problems with the dome and facilities, but got nowhere. Check-in is at 3 pm, check-out at 12 pm, and staff are available only from 9 am to 9 pm. At 15 minutes before 9 the next morning, I reported the issues, and after speaking with us the staff member still said she couldn’t help before 9. We slept in someone else’s bed and were very cold, and couldn’t enjoy the services. Given how quickly the weather can turn cold here, the whirlpool tub and shower should have been a plus, but neither had hot water, and both only produced a weak trickle. The air conditioner supposedly has heat, but smelled horrible, as if it hadn’t been maintained since they bought it. We couldn’t use the electric bikes either. The experience didn’t match the pictures or the expensive price we paid for what was meant to be something special. The trip was only worth it because we found other activities. There are much better places, like Montefuego, which has breakfast, a restaurant and a spectacular view.

We slept really well. The dome stayed warm and comfortable, and the rooms were spacious. The jacuzzi worked, the pool was great, and we had a delicious barbecue. We enjoyed the entertainment, too. The service was friendly, and they added thoughtful touches for my birthday. It wasn’t cold at all, and the price felt like a great match for the quality. Highly recommend it.
