We had to leave our room keys at reception whenever we went out, though nobody explained why. After dinner, we came back and asked to have the heat turned on. The hostess sounded irritated and told us to wait 20 minutes, then raised her voice and asked us to be patient. We thanked her and left, figuring she might have mistaken us for someone else. Our room was so cold that we returned before the 20 minutes were up. She was clearly annoyed to see us again and said she had a lot to do and couldn't leave the desk unattended. She asked my cousin to watch reception while she came upstairs. The keys were hanging by the front door, but she still asked for our room key. I explained that we'd handed it over as instructed when asking for help with the heat, since we were told to show or provide it at the desk. She grunted, opened the room, handed the key back, and switched on the heater while explaining how to use it in a very annoyed tone. This place has a lot going for it, including hot water, so it's a shame we were treated like an afterthought.
