The staff were so welcoming and friendly, and the attention to detail was amazing. Everything about my experience was wonderful. It's the best hotel I've ever stayed in.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel if you're looking for good service. The woman at concierge and reception had a very bad attitude from the start, and the man at reception didn't seem to know what to do. They asked me to sit on a couch while they processed check-in. After more than 30-40 minutes, I went back to reception to ask about it. They seemed busy with something else, then told me to cancel my booking and find another hotel because they didn't have the double bed I had booked through hotels.com. I tried to cancel with hotels.com, but the booking had no refund cancellation policy. I would have lost my money because the hotel didn't have the room I'd booked. I ended up taking a room without a double bed. The receptionist was rude throughout, nobody understood English, and communication was poor overall. Breakfast was the worst food I've had at a hotel where I'd paid around $100 a night. The servers weren't attentive, dishes and cups kept running out, and I had to ask repeatedly to get any. Used dishes stayed on the table unless you got someone's attention and made them take them away. The selection was very limited, and the prepared food was dry, bland, or otherwise not tasty. It made me want to go out and buy breakfast somewhere else. The facilities also weren't well maintained. When I turned on the bathtub water, it splashed everywhere. If you want to use the tub, be prepared for the bathroom to flood. I uploaded a picture of the splashing water. The receptionist tried to charge me $69 for early check-in, though another staff member had told me it would be $50. Even though I was willing to pay the higher amount she insisted on, she wouldn't check me in at 8:57 AM because the early check-in time was 9 AM, just three minutes later. She left me standing at reception and kept talking with staff about some hotel maintenance matter instead of handling my check-in. I uploaded a picture with the time showing when she refused to help me. I can't recommend this hotel to anyone expecting good service or a comfortable stay.

This is the only place I'll stay in La Paz. The hotel is beautiful, and the staff are warm and welcoming. Breakfast is excellent, and the restaurant is very convenient. There's also a clean pool, sauna, and hot tub. Many nice places nearby are within walking distance or a short taxi ride. It's a great place to stay.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay, and the whole team was so hospitable. After a rough trip from the US to La Paz, my husband left his phone in a taxi. The team tracked him down, and the owner even tipped the driver for taking it back to the hotel. Jose at the front desk made sure our anniversary stay felt special. The food and service were great. I could say so much more, but I really just want to thank the owner and staff :)
