No Fear Hostel

We stayed two nights in a private room with two beds. It was clean, as were the showers and toilets, and the hot water worked as expected. The location is great and the price was very cheap, especially for a private room. Just be ready for the stairs: the room was on the fourth floor and there’s no elevator.

Very good value for the price. The staff are friendly, and the location and terrace are nice. The room had no windows, and it was a bit noisy at night because of the young backpackers.

The bathrooms were roomy and clean, and the showers had great heat and pressure. We came back three times between tours and each stay was pleasant. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had comfortable beds, while the staff were friendly. Breakfast was fine, though nothing special. The location puts you between the markets, cathedral, and plenty of good restaurants. They do laundry for 10b/kg, hold your bags, and were flexible with check-in, even letting us in during the morning after our night bus. There isn't really a communal spot to relax and meet people, and nowhere to hang clothes while showering.

We stayed here three separate times while passing through La Paz and were very happy with it. The rooms were clean, the rooftop had nice views, and the price was good. It's easy to walk here from the bus terminal, and you're in the tourist center near bars, restaurants, and tour operators. They store luggage for free and the laundry was fairly priced, usually back the same day. Once we arrived well before check-in, but our room was already ready. Street-facing rooms might be noisy, I suppose, but our matrimonial room was inside the building and quiet at night.
