The location is good, the flat is clean and renovated, and the laundry service is good. The owner replies on WhatsApp, but honestly I’d rather not have had to contact her so often. There were quite a few things that weren’t right. The listing mentioned a tumble dryer, but there wasn’t one. At first the owner said it was a mistake. After I contacted Booking, she offered laundry service and said she should fix the listing. The arrival PDF was out of date, so we had to contact her to get into the place. There was no coffee machine, though that wasn’t mentioned during our stay. I’d already spent too much time messaging her on WhatsApp. Also watch out for the extra 2% card charge, which wasn’t mentioned. If you pay cash, the owner uses her own exchange rate, which of course isn’t in your favor. The kitchen has a few things, but only the bare minimum, for example, nothing for the oven.

It’s a small apartment, decorated very nicely, and the woman who checked us in handled almost all our requests about the remaining details. Still, check everything carefully when you arrive because some repairs and maintenance are needed, and there could be problems when you leave. The cookware, especially the pans, needs replacing. There’s no direct car access to the building. The living room TV only had one working channel, and the internet went out completely before checkout. Some towels were missing or cut in half, the sheets were too small to fit the bed properly and could be uncomfortable, and there weren’t enough pillows for everyone. Luggage storage is a block away. The area is busy and central in the daytime, but feels a bit unsafe at night. It’s also hard to find groceries late at night or early in the morning.
