La Posada de la Abuela Obdulia

It's quiet at night and good value for money. The hotel sits around an inner courtyard, right in the tourist area, so restaurants, bars, and shops are all close and easy to reach on foot. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the rooms were cleaned daily. We had a comfortable bed, clean sheets, towels, soap, and TP. Wi-fi and TV were good too. Highly recommended.

The atrium is a nice feature, but sound carries through it loudly. We could hear people talking and rolling their bags when they came back late or left early for tours or the airport. The location is amazing and alone makes this place worth a stay. Staff were great, and breakfast was decent, though it was odd to pay extra for fried or scrambled eggs. The room was clean, but #209 needs a new mattress. The one there is a few years overdue for replacement.

The staff really made our stay pleasant. They were friendly, helpful, available around the clock, and sorted out taxis and laundry for us. We also booked tours through the hostel, including a great death road tour. It's a beautiful place in La Paz's tourist area, close to the main sights and lots of restaurants. The rooms are tastefully furnished, cleaned daily, and the price is more than fair. Breakfast is included, basic but absolutely enough.

Tatiana was a fantastic host, always kind and accommodating, and the hotel's location is great. Our stay was pleasant overall. The rooms were okay, though the pillows were very thin. The other woman at reception was rather rude.
