Anata Hostel

I stayed for more than a week and had an amazing time. The atmosphere was very cool and the location perfect. Staff were always available. You can leave your stuff there if you're planning to do Huayna Potosí, which is a must do! Bathrooms were okay, depending on where you sleep, and breakfast was good but light.

It's in a great spot, close to the witches' market and transport. The staff were friendly and helpful, and it was a lovely place to stay. The only thing that bothered me was an occasional weird, stinky smell in the room. Otherwise everything was good, and I'd still recommend it!

I kept extending my stay because I liked it so much. The area is calm, safe, and beautiful, and breakfast was really tasty: toasted bread with delicious eggs, fruit, cereal, juice, coffee, and tea. There are lots of cosy places to hang out, plus a TV with DVDs. The rooms are totally fine, with comfortable beds and curtains, and the bathrooms have what you need and hot water. WiFi works, the staff are super friendly and helpful, and I met great people here. I'd recommend it to any backpacker!

The Colonial area is beautiful, and the hostel is far enough from street noise while still close enough to walk to shops and restaurants. Staff were amazing, kind, and helpful. They run a great tour desk and can store your luggage. There are loads of communal spots to relax, and breakfast is great. I was in the top-floor dorm. It was good, but my bed was right beside the awkward shower in the room and near the toilet, so I got some noise, light, and smells. If possible, maybe avoid that bed.
