Almudena Apart Hotel

Our apartment was spacious, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, although we didn't need the third bedroom. The city and Mt. Illimani looked great from there! 🏔

The apartments have a lot of room, with a living area, dining table, equipped kitchen, bathrooms, very comfortable beds, and even a Jacuzzi. You also get impressive views over La Paz. A basic continental breakfast is included, and for the money I thought it was good value. It seems better suited to families than to solo travelers. Restaurants and a grocery store are about seven blocks away, but the walk down is very steep. Plan to take a taxi back, which costs about 10 Bolivianos.

The apartment was spacious and had an incredible view, though not having an oven was a small downside. It's a reasonable walk to the centre and close to the teleferico station. When our youngest had trouble with the altitude, the staff were so helpful: they arranged for a Dr to come and had medicine delivered to the hotel.

We felt very welcome here. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the staff were incredibly helpful. After we missed our flight, they let us use the internet and even gave us some food when we came back after checkout.
