The rooftop was a great spot, with lovely views. We had burgers, coffee, and breakfast there and enjoyed them. The hostel is right across from the bus station, and it's an easy walk to the witches market and other places. The altitude made walking harder, but the teleferico is a good backup. We stayed in a private room, which was simple but spacious. It had extra blankets that we needed, and the hot water worked fine as long as you didn't turn it all the way up. We arrived around 2 a.m. after a bus ride, and the guy at the desk was very friendly. We were given towels and soap, and all the staff were welcoming and helped make the stay even better.

The rooftop restaurant was very nice. We tried the lentil burger, chicken Milanese, and carrot cake, and all of it was tasty. The area is industrial, with the bus terminal across the road, and it's about a 15 to 20 minute walk to the witches market. We visited in winter and had booked a private double room. It was clean, but there was no heat and it was very cold. Only on our last night were we told we could rent a heater for 30 bob for the whole stay, which didn't help much since we were leaving the next day.

The location is excellent, right beside the bus station, and there's an elevator. They charged 50 BOB for early check-in to a private room, which I can understand. But the room was freezing, and a heater cost extra too. The shower water was barely warm, never hot, and there were no towels or toiletries in the room.

The hostel and rooms are nice enough, but the rooms were cold even with the heater, which barely warmed them. The beds sag and the mattresses need replacing. Staff were friendly, but the service was very slow. It took ages for someone to ask what we wanted, and then more time to get our food and drinks.

The staff are very helpful, but the place is noisy and the room had an unpleasant smell. Laundry was also very expensive.
