The restaurant is open even if you’re not staying at the hotel, which is a nice little tip. The place has a special feel to it, and the pool, sauna, restaurant, staff, everything was great. The rooms may seem smaller than in comparable hotels, but they’re comfortable. A superb stay in Tarija.

The pool was awesome, and breakfast was good enough for three stars, but I didn’t like the room at all. The colors looked horrible, and the orange blanket on top of the bed felt dated and looked bad. I also don’t think pool classes belong at a hotel. The pool should be just for hotel guests.

The food was awesome, and the swimming pool is big. Service was great, too. The rooms are clean but outdated. Avoid the rooms at the back if you can, since Zumba classes start at 6am and the music carries.

It’s a comfortable hotel in a great location, with good service and the potential to become really great. Renovation and expansion work is underway, so it should be much better once that’s finished. There’s a nice pool, plus access to the gym and sauna. Seems well suited to business or leisure trips.
