Namaste Hostel

Gina, the owner, is one of the most inspiring people I’ve met, and you feel welcome as soon as you arrive. The place is beautiful, spotless, comfortable, and full of thoughtful details. The kitchen has loads of equipment, including the best oven I found in Bolivia. It really does feel like home, not just a hostel. I highly recommend staying here.

The location is great, just a five-minute walk from the central market and main plazas. The owners are incredibly friendly, and even let us check out late at no extra cost when our bus wasn’t coming until 9pm. Breakfast was fantastic and changed from day to day. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious, clean, and secure. Easily the best hostel I’ve stayed in!

The owner helped us plan our time in Tarija and our onward trip to Salta, and let us stay in the room while we waited for our bus, which we really appreciated since nobody had booked it for the next night. The communal areas were nice, too. It’s a lovely hostel near the main plaza, with a comfy bed, a great shower, and fab breakfast.

We loved staying here. It feels like you’re with family, and the hostel is super cute with a wonderful breakfast. Since there was availability, they let us keep the room for the whole day while we waited for our flight, and didn’t charge us. Great hostel!
