The owner was really helpful, suggesting places to eat and things to see, and there’s a pool, a hammock, and a nice shared space. We booked over WhatsApp and got a great room with good air conditioning, which mattered in the heat. There aren’t many places to stay in villamontes, and we only needed somewhere to rest before our 2am bus to Paraguay. The owner was super friendly and let us stay until then at a discounted rate. We were completely wiped out, so that was very welcome.

The building and its furnishings have a quirky style, and there are some thoughtful sustainability features. Breakfast was great, and the owner and staff were nice.

We got a bed at 02:00 AM, breakfast included, which was a huge help. The room had A/C, TV and WiFi, and the mattress was more than comfortable. The owner and employees were really friendly. Highly recommended!

There’s a menu available too, handy when you get hungry. It’s a beautiful place to stay in Villamontes, and the owner seems genuinely keen to support sustainable and cultural tourism.
