I ended up finding another hotel after waiting a long time for a response to my Booking.com reservation. I couldn't keep waiting out on the street. Afterwards, they wouldn't confirm the cancellation. The manager wasn't friendly, and the service was bad. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The employees gave excellent service, and breakfast was nice. There was food and other amenities available, and they could arrange a taxi, with the charge put on your room or credit card. Just know the rooms don't have private bathrooms. You share the facilities, like at an airport.

I went back to La Paz after 20 years, just hoping this place would be okay, and what a nice surprise. Eddy and Fernando, the managers, were both accommodating, and the building felt very safe. They arranged my rides to and from the airport. The hotel is in a great spot, super clean, and reasonably priced. I'd highly recommend this unassuming hotel to anyone visiting La Paz.

The room was large and cleaned every day, but the bed was small. Water barely flowed from the sink, and the bathroom felt dangerous. For what you get, the price was high.

Handy for seeing the city, with a central location, elevator, and laundry. The room had a fridge, kettle, and AC, and breakfast was OK. Bring your own water. Don't drink tap water in South America.
