Belmar Oceanfront Apartments

We stayed in Belmar #2, recently updated with a new kitchen and furnishings. Being on the first floor made it easy to handle our heavy, wet dive gear, and we even had a crab visit each morning. For divers looking for a long or short-term rental, this is the best spot on Bonaire. The views are beautiful, there’s a dive operation on site, and they have their own dive site. Wonderful place, highly recommend.

The house reef was lovely, with a guideline down to 45 feet that made navigation easier, especially at night. After diving, it was handy to have plenty of air and nitrox tanks plus rinse tanks near the private dock, which has easy access to the water. The pool is private and looks out toward Klein Bonaire. Everyone on staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We also really enjoyed guided dives with Jason and Richard, both informative, friendly, and fun to spend time with. It’s a beautiful resort with a much nicer feel than a huge one. We had a great stay and will be back.

The service was outstanding across the dive shop, front desk, and housekeeping, and the whole place had a wonderfully relaxing feel. My wife and I shared the stay with another couple from February 28/23 to March 10/23. Our floor apartment overlooked the pool and had gorgeous ocean views. The bedroom was roomy and the bathroom clean. We loved the pool and everything about our visit, and plan to return next year. After diving, they treated us to ice cream, beer, and champagne in the afternoon. Thank you!

The house reef, Sarah's Smile, is wonderful. I could have stayed out there all day. We were in #19, a deluxe, spacious apartment with everything we needed, including a nice kitchen and balcony hangers for wetsuits and BCs. There’s also a spiral staircase to the second floor, which my niece would say was the best part.
