The Cottage Club Hotel

The tropical gardens around the property and pool are lovely, full of colorful plants and trees, and the views are exceptional. During my 10 days at the Cottage Club Hotel, I stayed in a bright, spacious cottage with a full kitchen and traditional island architecture. It was private, comfortable, and very clean. The friendly, attentive staff welcomed me at the lobby, and the hotel is conveniently placed in Windwardside Village, an easy walk from shops and restaurants.

The Queen cottage was cozy and had everything I needed for a short, relaxing stay. Lovely green surroundings and wonderful views!

Cottage Club is spotless and beautiful, with so many thoughtful touches: fresh flowers daily, motion-sensor stair lights, organic local soaps, lots of towels including washcloths, and a really comfortable bed with three pillow types. Breakfast is homecooked, not a sad buffet, and owner Mark is wonderfully hospitable. His suggestions and all the little details show how much he cares. The island felt like home, with no cruise ship chaos, fresh fruit along the paths, and locals waving like old friends. I'd give this stay 10 stars if I could.

We love Saba for its people, spectacular scenery, and laid-back everyday pace, and we've been coming for many years. The Cottage Club will be our favorite place to stay on future trips. We spent our last Caribbean week there, in this small boutique hotel in Windwardside. The cottages are set up for privacy, and the ocean views are spectacular. Each has daily housekeeping, a full kitchen, a comfortable bed-sitting room, modern bathroom and shower, desk, TV, front porch, and balcony overlooking the Caribbean Sea. It was very quiet, with a few restaurants and a well-stocked grocery store that delivers within walking distance. Mark Johnson, the delightful owner, is Saban, knows everything about the island, and is almost always available. The weather is always superb.
