These are self-service apartments right on Bachelor Beach, with a lovely furnished deck or patio balcony. The kitchen is well equipped, but the A/C is only in the bedroom, and the bathroom has just a shower. Hot water is tepid at best. The on-site restaurant has a mixed menu, good food, and prompt service. Make a dinner reservation. The airport is about two minutes away, and parking on site is hit or miss.

I ate enough to put myself into a mini food coma. Lunch choices were limited, but tasty, so call ahead if there’s something specific you’re craving and check that it’s available. Fellow vegans, the lentil burger is no longer on the menu 😢. The cocktail of the week was carefully made and delicious. I’d thought the avocado caprese was a sandwich, but it turned out to be a salad, so I ordered fries on the side 🤭. Both were scrumptious. Naturally, I finished with a brownie because I’m in paradise. The staff were quick and friendly, the food came fast, and the poolside atmosphere was pretty dope. It’s just across the street from Bachelors Beach, so you can stop by after a long beach day or whenever they’re open. Tasty and affordable by NYC standards, and you know we’re picky! 👀

We first stayed at Bloozz resort for a week in November 2025, booking through Expedia for our family of five. Our penthouse had amazing views of Bachelor's beach and the pool, and the trip was wonderful. We liked it enough to book another 10-day stay directly with hotel staff for spring break, from 1-11April 2026, in a different apartment because ours was already booked. They said cancelling would mean a $50 administrative fee, but gave no deadline or cancellation policy. We confirmed the dates over three emails while still at the hotel, and I gladly paid. Around February 2026, direct flights from JFK to BON were completely cancelled. When we tried to book three weeks before the trip, flights without a direct option cost three times as much, or $7700 for our family for those dates. We decided not to go, and I immediately emailed to cancel. The reply was cold: because I was cancelling 20, not 21 days ahead, they said the hotel could charge 50% of the total, citing a policy they hadn’t shared before. After several emails, I asked to speak with a manager and requested that they keep what we’d paid as credit toward a later booking, with us paying any price difference. The manager called, heard the situation, and said he’d ask the owners and call back. When he did, he said he was sorry but they wouldn’t honor the request. We’d hoped to work it out amicably, but that hope was shattered and our trust broken. We’d enjoyed the hotel the first time, but as returning customers, we’re very, very disappointed with how we were treated.

It’s a delightful apartment hotel, with a great lunch and dinner restaurant, good drinks, and wonderful staff. My only disappointment was the uncertain beach access.

The service was good, at least. Dinner was underwhelming. They shouldn’t offer fine dining if they can’t deliver it. I ordered the pichana, but it didn’t taste freshly grilled. There was too much fat cap and hardly any steak. My wife had the steak fish, which was okay, nothing special.
