Aqua Viva Suites

When the owners/managers heard about little issues during our stay, they replied to messages within an hour and sorted them out. All the issues were our fault, not theirs. The hotel is a great spot between the north and south sides of the island, and VIP Divers is literally next door. Our room was clean, fresh, and well air conditioned, with towels replaced daily. There’s a decent fridge for breakfast supplies, plus a kettle, coffee maker, and toaster. It was quiet, and the pool was just the right size for a dip after diving. My son and I will plan to come back in a few months. I absolutely recommend Aqua Viva for small groups and families. Thanks for hosting us!

It was much easier having the dive shop we used right next door. The hosts were great people: they were very responsive on WhatsApp, gave us suggestions, organized the car rental and airport taxis, and even brought ice from home when I sprained my ankle. The rooms are simple and clean, with a little fridge, toaster, dishes, silverware, kettle, and coffee maker. Lighting could be better, but it works. We got extra towels for the pool or beach as well as bath towels. Cleaning wasn’t daily; once they took our towels and forgot to replace them, so we had to track some down. The safe didn’t work, and the smoke detector was missing. The pool could have been cleaner, though I never saw anyone using it. I was fine with a simple room since I wasn’t there to spend time indoors.

The complimentary rides were a real highlight. The hotel picked us up at the airport and even offered to take us to our next accommodation when we checked out, which made getting around feel seamless and stress-free. This small family-run place exceeded our expectations in several ways. The rooms are fairly standard, but clean, comfortable, and have the essentials, with very reasonable prices and excellent value. The location is convenient for exploring the area, about a 15-minute walk from the centrum.

We had a great two-week stay. The hosts were amazing, and the place was clean, well equipped, with good parking and a pool. My only suggestion would be a better mattress for my poor Canadian back. I’d come back and would fully recommend it.
