Casa Trankilo

It's so calm and relaxing here that it's tempting to spend the whole stay lounging in the hammock and garden. The outside areas and pool are very well cared for. Each apartment has its own hammock, which I really enjoyed. My room was modern and very clean, the kitchen was well equipped, and the staff were very friendly.

The layout gives each little apartment a private feel, even when the place is fully booked. Plants, trees, cabanas with couches, and rinse stations are spread around thoughtfully, and it stayed quiet during our visit. The outdoor kitchen had plenty of dishes and cookware, along with a coffee machine. It's an easy walk to town and the grocery stores, and there's a beach across the street. Alexander, the owner, was wonderful. He picked us up at the airport, provided breakfast, and was always working on improvements. He even brought fresh towels and linen, noticed the bathroom needed caulk, and fixed it right away. We'd absolutely stay again. We left feeling very trankilo.

The garden has lots of plants and trees for shade, and iguanas hang out on the wall by the pool every day. Our room was clean, and Jan and Lia, the managers, were lovely and helpful with island information. We had a wonderful time at Casa Trankilo. Kind regards, Carsten and Stephanie

Casa Trankilo made our trip to Bonaire truly great, and I'd happily recommend staying there. The neighborhood is quiet, with a nice semi-private beach about a minute's walk away. Our hosts were kind and attentive, and they keep the property in good shape. The bed was comfortable and the room had a good supply of kitchen amenities. If you'd rather eat out, downtown has lots of lovely restaurants and is only about a 10-minute walk.
