The breakfast was the standout. It was so good it felt like eating at a restaurant, with staff serving guests and taking orders. I've never seen anything like it, and the selection was huge. I challenge anyone to try everything; there's no way. Dinner was decent value too: the portions were a good size, the food average, and the prices not high. The hotel has a lot of potential, but feels stuck in the past. That seemed fine for guests who love its old-fashioned style. Our room didn't have enough outlets, or ones in useful spots, so we had to take turns charging our devices. My girlfriend is allergic to a lot of things, so we got the only room without parquet flooring. The bathroom was tiny, and I bumped into things several times while showering. Couples won't be able to shower together, though the hotel does have rooms with bigger showers. There isn't an elevator. I don't mind that because I hate elevators, but I wouldn't recommend the hotel to guests with physical disabilities.
