Even with shared bathrooms, everything was clean and well organized. This is a relaxed place for people who like to enjoy the moment and meet others. We felt at home, more like friends sharing a weekend than owners and guests. Andréa was wonderful: she did everything she could to help with our car trouble and looked after our puppy so we could visit Parque Nacional. Without a doubt, we'd choose to stay there again.

Traveling alone, I found it perfect and great value. The bed and room were good, and there’s a pool with a river running right beside the house. Marcelo always puts out really good fresh coffee. Andréa is wonderful too, and offers massages for an extra charge. The massage was very good.

Andreia and Marcelo are such lovely people, and I’m very grateful for the warm welcome they always give me. You really feel at home here. When it comes to places to stay in Alto Caparaó, Hostel do Café is perfect. I highly recommend it.

We've been staying with Andrea and Marcelo for four years, and they've become friends. The place is lovely, comfortable, clean, and close to everything. We highly recommend it!

After my first stay, I made a point of coming back every year. The owners are wonderful and so attentive, and the space is great. It’s the perfect place to stay and has a special place in my heart.
