Collina Beach

The pool area was our favorite, with a lovely view and wonderful drinks. We also enjoyed the carefully prepared restaurant dishes and fair prices. The room was comfortable and clean, the setting was beautiful, and the view was fantastic. Staff were so friendly, and breakfast was generous. We had the best experience and plan to come back.

The bar and restaurant staff were great, but reception gets a zero from me. Service overall was poor, and people often didn't follow up. For what we paid, and given the hotel's advertising, I expected much more comfort. Instead, the stay was stressful, especially since a good hot shower matters a lot to me and I couldn't get one. The bathroom had no roof, so strong wind blew through while showering, and rain would come in too. The hotel itself has a beautiful view and a magnificent sunset, but that was about where the good parts ended. I went without hot water in the bathroom for 24 hours. I reported it on the first day and nothing was done. The next morning I went looking for help and found nobody at reception or from maintenance. I was told the team would arrive at 7, but it was already 7:15. The place felt abandoned, with no one to help guests. I have a one-year-old baby and couldn't bathe them, there wasn't even warm water. The pillows were uncomfortable, the room lighting was awful, and one day a snake appeared by the pool near my baby. Breakfast was meant to start at 7:30, but it was never ready before 8 and everything was delayed. This is a fairly expensive hotel, so I expected better.

We had a really good stay, and we're considering coming back soon. The hotel has a solid structure, and you can tell care went into both the facilities and the service. The bar staff were a ten, and the “Collina Moscou” drink with rapadura shavings was fantastic. My fiancée also loved the massage session the hotel offered, right on our room balcony near the sea. Breakfast was satisfactory, though dinner let us down a little. One dish was described as truffle parmesan risotto, but there was no truffle in it.

Sensational stay, with a fantastic view, comfortable rooms, good facilities, and excellent service.
