Pousada Malea

I loved this pousada and would like to come back. The chalets are spaced well apart, which made things quiet, and the pool was a nice size and super clean. D. Rejane and Leila were excellent, welcoming us warmly and helping with everything, along with the rest of the team. Breakfast was tasty but quite basic. The Wi-Fi worked very well for me, despite the comments I'd seen saying it was bad. There are some muricocas, but that seems normal in a place full of plants. We used repellent and were fine.

Sra. Rejane knows all about the tours and places to visit, whether you go on your own or with her. She also explains how to get there in a regular car or a 4×4. The staff are very attentive, and the place feels calm and peaceful. The chalets are cozy and the pool is always clean. Breakfast was excellent. My only complaint is that the shower in chalet 8 has low water pressure, though I'm sure they'll sort it out. I'd recommend the place.

The room was a good size, and the pousada is well located with parking. Breakfast was simple, but you can ask for tapioca and scrambled eggs. One side of the mattress had a dip, and there were no toiletries in the bathroom. During our stay, there were no pandemic prevention or safety measures in place. The staff even served guests without masks.

The breakfast was superb, with homemade jam, crepes, smoothies, and pretty much anything you could want. The price was very reasonable, especially when booking directly through WhatsApp. It's a spacious, peaceful pousada with free parking, charming owners, and a charming place overall. The owners even speak French. Well done, guys, keep it up! Emmanuel
