Pousada Rio Verde Ltda

This pousada was a huge disappointment. It looked old and almost abandoned, and nothing matched the photos. The pictures must be from when it was built. The pool was filthy and empty. We only stayed because the town was full and nowhere else had availability.

The stay was quite peaceful, and the pousada offers good value. Breakfast was good but simple, and reception closes at 9 p.m. You can still reach the rooms by the stairs after that. The room had good air conditioning, clean bedding, and a TV with Netflix and YouTube options. The place is simple but cozy. It was raining heavily, and my boyfriend slipped on the outside wooden stairs. We think the rain caused it, so maintenance and care are needed to prevent something serious from happening. We met two staff members: Romário helped us with parking and was helpful with tour information, while Morgana welcomed us, prepared the room, and helped at breakfast.

A terrible experience. The pousada is old and appears abandoned. The photos they send and post on Instagram are outdated and don't show the reality. The air conditioning didn't work properly, and the bathroom in my room had no water. How can a pousada be without water?

The location is great, but the facilities were very disappointing. Everything was old and moldy, the bed was bad, and the bathroom was awful. The sheets were even worse. Breakfast was basic, and the small pool was dirty the whole time.
