Chalés Quinta da Bocaina

The area around the pool is lovely and pleasant, and the guesthouse itself is charming, surrounded by nature. We stayed in the Ondina bungalow near the waterfall, and falling asleep to the sound of the water was such a treat. The studios have a little extra compared with the one we stayed in, and I think that could be worth it for what they offer. The place has a rustic, eco-friendly feel. I loved showering under the glass ceiling and looking up at the sky, though stronger water pressure would have made it perfect. Breakfast wasn’t packed with choices, but it was thoughtfully put together. Everything was fresh, homemade, and tasty, especially the amazing jams. You can also ask for a few extra things, like scrambled eggs or homemade bread toasted on the griddle. The staff were so sweet and helpful, and Fernanda is very friendly. The owner, Rodrigo, was friendly and attentive too. It was great being able to bring our dog and take him around the property, let him wander on the grass or through the woods, and even have him with us at breakfast. There are lots of places to visit in the area, including cafés and restaurants. We loved it!

The owner was very attentive, and we really liked the place. The room was cute overall, with air conditioning and a large, comfortable bed. It’s surrounded by greenery, close to the highway, and there’s a waterfall at the back of the property. They also have a heated pool and a great breakfast. We definitely recommend it!

We’d gladly come back soon. It’s a peaceful, cozy place with clean, inviting rooms, and Rodrigo gave us a very warm welcome. Breakfast was delicious, with dishes made to order. There’s a lovely trail and a view of a small waterfall with fish. The location is great, close to both Amparo and Serra Negra. It’s especially nice for couples. They’re building a beautiful pool too, which will make the place even better. Highly recommend!

The heated pool and the waterfall behind the property, which you can reach by a short trail, were great. The Jasmim suite was wonderful too. The only downside is how close it is to the highway, so you can hear the traffic.
