The views of Angra dos Reis are stunning, and the dining options are satisfactory. Staff speak English, which makes communication easy. Comfort was affected by traffic and siren noise from the nearby road, which could still be heard on the fourth floor. The bathroom also feels cramped, and the door doesn’t have enough clearance, so the room needs some improvements.

The rooms are old, but they were clean and good enough for me. The staff are kind and even speak some English. I would have loved the place otherwise, but it gets noisy, especially on weekends from 18:00 to 04:00 🙂

The photos are out of date. It smells of mold, and paint is visibly peeling from the walls. It looks like the place hasn’t been renovated in years. Avoid it at all costs.

It’s an amazing hotel, but the wireless routers are really bad. If you need internet, ask for a room with an Ethernet cable.
