Hotel Queiroz

Great.

My stay at Hotel Queiroz was awful. The place was under renovation, which seriously affected the experience. The bathroom was in terrible shape, and a strong smell from the drain spread through the whole room until it was impossible to stay there. There was no room service, the hallway smelled intensely of mildew, and I found several hairs in the food at dinner. It was a very negative experience and showed a lack of care for guests' hygiene, comfort, and well-being.

The staff were wonderful. I was welcomed so warmly that I honestly felt at home. The hotel is simple, just what I look for when I visit Aparecida: a clean, cozy room for sleeping and good food. I've stayed here several times before and have always liked it. They deserve congratulations.

The food is delicious, and the location right in the center is excellent. But reception was awful. My mother is afraid of elevators, and we'd already arranged with the bus pilgrimage leader to stay downstairs so she wouldn't need to use one. We arrived at one in the morning and were greeted by a very unfriendly, insincere young man who shouldn't be working as a hotel receptionist. I'll never stay at this hotel again. I'll still visit Aparecida, of course, because it's the place I love visiting most.
