The standout for me was how clean everything was. I always walk around a hotel room in my socks to check, and mine stayed white, haha. We stayed one night, January 27 to 28, 2026, at Hotel Rainha dos Apóstolos, and the staff were attentive too. When I asked for dry towels, they arranged delivery to the room right away. The breakfast was tasty, and we chose half board; dinner was very good and exceeded what I expected. I also liked the shuttle to the Basilica, the direct access to Cidade do Romeiro, and free parking at the Basilica. My only personal preference is having the sink inside the bathroom. That aside, I’d gladly stay here again and recommend it.

The hotel is well organized and clean, right next to Cidade do Romeiro, with a gate from the garden that leads straight in. We stayed for two nights last weekend, my mother and I, and felt very welcome. Check-in was easy and clearly explained. Our room had a Sanctuary view; it wasn’t directly in front, but we could still see it well. Both the room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The restaurant was busy, but we never had trouble finding a table. Breakfast came with the stay, while lunch and dinner cost extra at a fixed price for an all-you-can-eat buffet with food, dessert, and soda. We liked the choices and the food at all three meals. The shuttle was handy given the location, though shorter gaps between rides in both directions would help. We’d definitely come back.

I was struck by how thoughtfully the different parts of the complex fit together. Cidade do Romeiro, Caminho do Rosário, the leisure areas and places to rest all feel connected, with something for people coming for faith, sightseeing, or just a bit of peace. The links to Rio Paraíba and the other areas add to the experience, and the food, accessibility, and welcome all seemed well considered. I’d never been to Hotel Rainha dos Apóstolos before, but a prize I received gave me the chance to see it for myself. The hotel is about 700 meters from Santuário Nacional, a comfortable walk for reflection. Little trains run frequently for anyone who prefers a ride, including people with disabilities, older visitors, and people with limited mobility. Parking is spacious and orderly. The hotels in the area also offer useful stability for people with health concerns, older guests, or anyone needing a bit of extra structure to feel comfortable. This wasn’t just because I won the event. Seeing the integrated spaces firsthand really impressed me. Each has its own beauty and purpose, all within the larger setting of Santuário Nacional. Well cared for, organized, and welcoming. It’s well worth a visit.

I really appreciated the little details, especially when the waitress Alessandra arranged a birthday surprise for my mother with a small cake and a candle. The whole team was polite, and the welcome had a lovely feeling of care and faith. At check-in, Matheus was very helpful with directions about the city and the Sanctuary. The room was spotless, and after a full day of walking and worship, the wonderful shower was a real comfort. There are several Catholic channels on the TV, so I could pray the Rosary at dawn with Frei Gilson in a peaceful setting. Breakfast was great too. Highly recommend.

We were made to feel at home from the start. The receptionists and other staff were kind, attentive, and ready to help throughout our stay. We had our one-year-and-two-month-old son with us and requested a crib. It was already set up when we arrived. The food was delicious, they treated him sweetly, and staff always offered to get his high chair. The outdoor area is pretty and well kept, a nice place to relax and spend time together. The children’s park and Espaço do Romeiro were excellent, with activities for different ages in a safe, comfortable, and orderly setting. We’re already planning to return. 🙏💛
