The staff were a real bright spot. Everyone was polite, attentive, and helpful throughout my stay. I picked the hotel for its location and all the praise I’d read about breakfast, since a good breakfast matters to me, but that meal didn’t live up to the reviews. It wasn’t bad, just quite basic. There were only two cakes, neither very tasty, and not much variety in cakes, sweets, or other items you’d expect at a fuller breakfast. That was my biggest disappointment. A few other things could be better. The dining area is combined with the reception, which I didn’t find comfortable. The shower had low pressure and sprayed unevenly, and I missed having a handheld bidet spray beside the toilet. Parking is on a nearby lot, rather than on the hotel grounds, so you have to walk there. The location and service made the stay satisfactory overall, but I think the facilities and especially breakfast could be improved.

The complimentary guided visit to Santuário was the highlight for us. Our guides, Rita and Fernanda, picked us up at the hotel and organized everything quickly. Fernanda showed us around with warmth, knowledge, and a personal sense of faith and devotion to N.Sra. Aparecida. The tour covered the history, culture, architecture, and religion. After that visit, it felt like we could finally say we knew Aparecida. The hotel is well located, with parking, and you can walk to the sights. Some rooms look out toward Basílica, which is beautiful at night. The staff were very helpful too. What a great initiative, that guided tour is a must.

The location is great, very close to Basílica, and I’d gladly stay here again. It’s a simple hotel, but the quality is very good. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and lunch and dinner were also excellent. The staff were especially kind, polite, and always willing to help. My room was comfortable, with air conditioning that worked perfectly and a well-organized minibar. The parking is at another location, but a staff member is always there to escort and help, which made it feel safe and convenient. Strongly recommend.

The hotel’s location near Santuário made getting around on foot easy, and the price felt fair for a comfortable stay with attentive service. I stayed at Hotel Rainha Santa Isabel in December 2025 and recommend it. The building is new, the room was clean, the linens were well cared for, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The breakfast is simple but adequate, particularly for the value. There are around five covered parking spaces, with the rest uncovered. Neither parking area is right beside the hotel, though both are close, and a staff member is available to walk you there. The uncovered lot faces the avenue by Santuário, and there’s a shorter route through the covered parking. In my room, the shower enclosure was only partial, so some water got onto the bathroom floor. I’m not sure why, and photos from other guests seem to show full enclosures in other rooms, so it may have been specific to mine. The staff were very attentive. Sr. Odair promptly helped us with the shower, which turned out to be a misunderstanding rather than a technical fault. The owners, I believe, were also helpful and responsive during that situation.

The reception and other staff were very kind and helpful, and the room’s air conditioning worked well. Breakfast also met expectations. Still, we felt the price was high for what the hotel offered. There were several things that bothered us. The bathroom had an electric shower, which didn’t match the standard we expected, and there was a sewer smell coming from the sink. The parking lot was some distance away and had no valet service. The TV made it hard to find channels easily. A guide for a Sanctuary visit was offered, but she never showed up. We didn’t enjoy the à la carte dinner either, which seemed reheated. Meals are served on the ground floor in an area attached to reception, and we found that uncomfortable. Our room also had neither a chair nor a trash bin.
