Great.

The room setup was awkward: the sink was outside the bathroom, the shower leaked into the bathroom, and the toilet and shower were in separate rooms but controlled by the same light switch. There was nowhere to hang clothes or put luggage, so our things ended up scattered on the floor, and there wasn’t even a hook for wet towels. The double room was tiny, which made it even harder to move around the bags. I also found a sanitary pad wrapper under the bed, so the cleaning didn’t seem very thorough. There was no phone in the room to call reception, and they didn’t answer the outside phone or WhatsApp either. For the high price, it felt like staying at a roadside inn. I’ll never return, and I suggest you don’t risk staying here.

From outside, the hotel looks good, with a pool area and a small gym, though there are very few machines. The rooms, however, are cramped for two people, with nowhere to put clothes or hang the bath towels provided. The bathroom is tight too, with the shower in a separate area from the toilet. The sink is in the bedroom, outside the bathroom, and the one in my room was clogged. I asked reception to fix it, but no maintenance was done. Breakfast is simple, with few choices, and the plates and cutlery run out quickly. I wouldn’t recommend staying here for tourism. Maybe it’s okay for a quick stopover or business, which seems to fit the hotel’s name.

The service was good, and the restaurant was pleasant, with quality food. The hotel looks attractive and organized when you arrive, so the room was a letdown. It’s very small, with no wardrobe or proper space for clothes or luggage, and the TV is about the size of a computer monitor. There’s a sink in the middle of the room, and there’s no phone to contact reception, so you have to go downstairs for any question or request. I travel to Aracaju for work regularly, and this time my company put me up at Celi Connect. The room didn’t live up to the first impression made by the hotel’s facilities. The room setup needs work. Please get a PABX installed urgently.
