Hotel Pousada do Farol

The pools were a highlight, and everything felt clean and well kept. We spent Carnival here as a family, and our room had comfortable beds, air conditioning, a minibar, and a TV. Breakfast was generous and really good. The covered parking and friendly reception were great, too. Staff were polite and attentive, and the hotel is close to the beach, bars, and restaurants. We’d like to come back.

I didn’t feel the stay was worth the price, and I won’t return or recommend it. When booking, they said an extra mattress might be available for my 4-year-old son. Later they wanted to charge for it, then said we’d need a triple room, but none was available. They said a supervisor would check what could be done, but nothing came of it. The reception service was disappointing, and the staff seemed unprepared. There are better options.

It was quiet, and the location worked well for us. We stayed as a family and liked the clean, organized room, comfortable bed, and great pillows. The staff were very polite and helpful, and there’s an indoor parking area and a pantry. Breakfast tasted good and was enough, though there weren’t many choices for a place with this kind of setup. The two pools were nice, too. I’d recommend it and would stay again if I needed to.

At Real Classic Aracaju, I was refused cutlery because I hadn’t ordered anything from the hotel restaurant. When I asked to speak with the manager, no one came, and the staff were curt. I consider that inappropriate treatment of a guest and a consumer, and it fell short of basic hospitality and respect.
