What a cozy little place. Everything was very clean, and when we needed another mattress for my baby, the staff were really helpful. It was quiet and felt very family-friendly. We only stayed one night while passing through, but it was worth it.

Mary was great at handling things and making sure we were looked after. The place is peaceful, family-friendly, and very clean and organized, with the waterfront still within walking distance. The room could use some fixes: the tap is too short, the toilet seat is cracked, there’s no large mirror, and the window doesn’t open. It’s also dark, and the pillow irritated my eyes so much that I used a towel to sleep.

I could get my work done in peace, and the place is really close to Atalaia’s waterfront. There’s no breakfast, but using the shared kitchen with the other guests was no problem. A very good stay.

The location is the main plus, close to both the beach and the tourist market. Inside, though, the walls and light switches were dirty, the shower had nowhere to put soap, and the mattress was hard. It wasn’t worth the price.

We were treated really well when we came with the family. The shared kitchen at Lá na casa da Vovó made breakfast easy, and there are little shops nearby. The craft market is an easy walk too. We’ll definitely come back.
