Something to think about: If you're Black, especially a man traveling alone, you'll probably recognize how often prejudice shows up as poor service or suspicion. People may pretend racial discrimination isn't real, but it comes through in small, subtle actions. When you're by yourself, it's even harder to prove. The way you're welcomed and the distrustful looks at your ID, among other things, are obvious. The money Black people pay is the same as anyone else's. Treating Black customers politely only helps your business. We're paying for a service, not asking for a favor, and we deserve respect and decent treatment. They don't turn us away or deny us a room because there's a law against it, but we're still judged by our appearance and treated very badly. The laws should account for the subtle side of racial prejudice and discrimination. Since they don't, we're still met with suspicion and poor service. Lodging owners, think about this. May God keep blessing and protecting all of us, Black people.

It's neither good nor bad, but it can do if you need somewhere quickly, and the price is good. Still, it's far from everything. The first time, a rat showed up in the room. The bathrooms have no doors, and some had no soap and were wet.

Great for an overnight stop and a rest during work trips. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of variety and everything fresh. I'd come back and recommend it.
