Complexo Turistico Mirante Das Gamboas

The staff were nice, but I wouldn't recommend staying here. We booked a cottage with full board for two days and left early after breakfast because we didn't want to stay any longer, even though we'd lose what we paid. The meals were disappointing. Dinner had few choices and tasted bad. Breakfast offered a bit more and was less unpleasant, but still plain and almost tasteless. We were told we could take as much as we wanted from the buffet, but only two pieces of each item from the grill. Any more would cost about R$ 70 per kilo. The cottage felt exposed, with other guests walking past our balcony on their way through the closely spaced cottages, often while wet. We had allergy problems, lots of mosquitoes, and one bed was outside the bedroom near the front door with no air conditioning. The shower pressure was weak, the mattress was very hard, and there were no soaps at first. They brought two after we asked, though there were four of us. We also asked about the hammock hooks we saw and were told they could provide just one hammock.
