Pousada Agua Marinha

Such a lovely place, I’m really happy here. Araceli and Hugo are the best owners. I booked two nights and ended up staying five. Great value, and I’d come back.

The rustic architecture makes the place feel calm and very cozy. Breakfast isn’t included, but that’s understandable and doesn’t take away from its charm. There’s a bakery nearby. Dona Araceli’s warmth, care, and smile feel like a mother’s embrace. Sr. Hugo is just as kind, always polite and ready to help. We left very early while it was still dark, and he came out with us to the car to help and wish us a good trip, even though he didn’t have to. We’ll be back, and I recommend that everyone visit!

It’s just a short walk from Broadway and the beach. There’s no parking, so it’s best to leave your vehicle somewhere and get around on foot. There’s a kitchen too if you need to prepare something at the inn.

It’s a little away from downtown and there’s no breakfast, but the hospitality and attention to detail make up for that. The owners are a very welcoming couple and made me feel at home as soon as I arrived. I loved the inn. It’s peaceful and cozy, with greenery all around that makes you feel close to nature. A lovely quiet retreat.
