Breakfast was good, and the staff paid attention to guests. The pousada was very clean and conveniently placed, with the beach one block away and restaurants a block in the other direction. Both are easy to reach on foot, though the hill is steep if walking is difficult.

Ants in the bed on our first and only night made us cancel the rest of our stay. We had been given the last room, downstairs from the pool area, and it wasn't good. Breakfast was very poor, nothing special. In my opinion, there are many better places in the area.

The pool was good, and the hotel has a beautiful ocean view. The bar keeps cold beer on hand, though it was a little overpriced, and breakfast had good options. It’s also near the beach and other tourist spots. Check which room you’re booking, since some have no view from the window. I picked this village for a solo trip along the Ceara coast after reading reviews on Booking, and the hotel was great.

We spent a great time at Tranquilandia. During the day, the pool and restaurant were nice places to relax, and breakfast was delicious, with tapiocas made to order. The courteous, helpful staff also shared lots of good tips for day trips in the area.
