I understand there are rules about when breakfast starts at 6, and I respect that. On earlier days, other employees had let me grab a banana and a little coffee because the company bus was already waiting. Today I went into the dining room about five minutes before breakfast and was spoken to rudely in front of my coworkers. I’m not objecting to the rule, just to how I was approached. A simple situation like this could have been handled with more courtesy and common sense.

At 10 p.m. the bar next to the hotel was still playing music so loudly that it was unbearable. The receptionist didn’t seem very willing to help.

I’m at the hotel right now and it’s extremely noisy, impossible to rest. Other rooms have loud music and children screaming, and when we brought it up, reception didn’t seem to care. The service has been awful.

The shower is a basic residential one and takes forever to heat up, and our sheet was torn. The hotel is quite small, and reception leaves a lot to be desired. We arrived to find out the elevator was broken. Even though the hotel looked visibly empty, we were put in a room with almost no ventilation and just a tiny window. I also forgot to mention on booking that the same housekeeper who cleans the rooms refills the breakfast. Anyway, I wouldn’t recommend the experience.

My first 30 days have been great, and I’m hoping to stay another 30, and then another 30, haha. I’ve loved it and am still loving it! The owners, staff, facilities, and kitchenettes are all wonderful, well cared for, and tidy. The breakfast is exceptional. A perfect score!
