I was there for work in October and got a room with several problems. There was no phone, the blankets were stained and torn, and a family of pigeons at the bathroom window made noise all day. There was also some structure wrapped in aluminum foil that I couldn’t make sense of. The office chair was stained, and the shower had no soap holder. Breakfast was disappointing too. I had the worst juice ever, and couldn’t tell whether it was pineapple or another fruit because it wasn’t labeled.

I only needed a night in town and stayed at Casarão. The room was clean, with clean white sheets, and the shower was good. Breakfast had a reasonable variety. I recommend it for the value.

The owner has put money into the hotel, and everything looks new, from the air conditioning to the beds. The room was clean and the bed was good, but the morning team really lets that investment down. The receptionist and housekeepers were noisy, talking and shouting outside while smoking on the sidewalk. They played loud gospel music on a phone and yelled on the stairs to talk to someone in the kitchen. It was a terrible experience.

I spent a weekend here and found the hotel clean and well organized. Breakfast was very good, and the attendant there was polite and really helpful. Great value for the money.

My stay at Hotel Casarão was better than I expected. The room was very comfortable, the staff attentive, and breakfast excellent. The hotel welcomes pets, and my dogs were treated very well. Everything was great.
