Hotel California

Really great.

Loved it.

The breakfast room is poorly set up when the hotel is busy, with oversized tables and too little space. The hotel feels geared toward travelers, and the rooms are a decent size, though the furniture needs better care. The bathroom floor is flat, so water runs into the bedroom. You have to shower quickly with a squeegee in hand, and there's a strong smell from the bathroom, so the door needs to stay shut. When I arrived in the early hours, an overweight man was standing shirtless in shorts and smoking right at the entrance. It made a terrible first impression. Still, if you're after a well-located, low-cost hotel and don't mind these things, it could be worth staying.

I stayed at this hotel with my wife last week. The receptionist was very rude and ill-mannered, and I saw her speaking badly about customers. I didn't like the service. For what they charged, guests should be treated with more respect. The front desk was awful.
