Right in central Araxá, the hotel has furnishings that recall the city's golden age during the gold rush. Whether you're in town for work or leisure, it's a good hotel at a reasonable price.

The people at reception were very helpful, but the parking garage is extremely tight. We had room 402, a quadruple room for just the two of us, and only used the large, comfortable twin bed. The hotel generally feels worn out and badly needs refurbishment. Breakfast was disappointing and didn't meet the standard I expect from Brazilian hotels.

The best part of the hotel was the breakfast, and the staff were polite. The room had a slight moldy smell, though, and the old box-style air conditioner was a bit noisy.

I didn't go inside the hotel, just walked past it, and it was a very nice walk.

I only went there because I was using an app.
