Arcos Palace Hotel

Breakfast was wonderful, with several juice options and a creamy cappuccino that won me over. Everything was so clean, the sheets smelled fresh and were neatly arranged, and the bathroom was spotless. You can see the care in the little details. I loved my stay, and I’ll definitely come back. Highly recommend it!

For the price, I can’t recommend this hotel. A double room is around R$365, and even the rooms described as “super luxury” felt run-down. The showers had weak water pressure, there was grime in several places, and the hygiene seemed questionable. The doors and windows were old and didn’t work well. The conventional, non-split air conditioner barely cooled the room and made a disturbing noise. The blankets smelled dusty and weren’t wrapped, so it was obvious they hadn’t been cleaned. There’s no elevator, which wasn’t an issue for me but could be for many people. Breakfast was just okay. Worst of all, there was an old takeaway meal left in the room’s minibar by another guest, and the fridge was switched off. That tells you what condition it was in.

The room was clean and the towels were clean too. The only thing keeping this from five stars was the shower in my room: the water was a little cold and didn’t come out strongly. I liked the hotel overall and would stay again. Adalgisa, who was working at breakfast, welcomed me warmly and was very helpful.

The reception staff were helpful, and breakfast was really good. It’s also in a good location. I had a nice stay, thank you ☺️
