The outside lounge area is the reason I’m giving this place five stars. It’s just COOL, with the mood and furniture making it feel like you could be in Indonesia or Morocco. Such a great spot to chill and relax, and there’s a nice little pool and spa area too. The rooms are nice, though a little outdated. The music playing all the time was awesome, the staff were delightful, and breakfast was solid. Enjoy.

It’s a little removed from the Centro, but that quiet distance ended up being part of the appeal. Our room, #4, looked out on a really peaceful view, and lounging by the pool on one of the zen-style beds with soft ambient music was such a relaxing feeling. The whole place has a distinctive bohemian mood, with loads of cool design details. The rooms were great, and everyone was warm and welcoming. Julio at reception was especially lovely.

The rooms felt extremely humid and moldy, and we woke up with congested noses. A couple of other guests mentioned having the same issue. We also had to switch rooms because the first one had no Wi-Fi and one of the AC units wasn’t working. On one morning there was no water at breakfast. The facilities felt more like a hostel, and I don’t think this deserves a four-star rating or should be called a hotel.
