Voa Pousada Golf Village

I stayed at Pousada Golf Village from 22/5 to 24/5/26 and came away really disappointed. The room felt far too basic for a luxury suite, and the staff seemed unprepared. Breakfast was simple, and nothing was replenished. The kitchen staff weren’t wearing hairnets. It’s much too expensive for what you get, so I can’t recommend it.

We found Golf Village at the last minute after deciding to stay in Petrópolis for the night. Domingos, the owner, answered my call very politely, and Pedro greeted us just as warmly when we arrived. Our room was clean and comfortable, and everything worked. Breakfast was excellent, with tasty food and constant refills. The tennis court is also in great condition. We were going to an event at the petro exhibition park, and the inn is very close by. I recommend it, it was worth every cent.

We stayed over the last Carnival and had a really good time. Pedro was especially helpful and polite, and the reception service felt welcoming. There’s plenty to do, with a game room, tennis court, and minigolf. The pool has a lovely view, plus hammocks and chairs where you can sit and enjoy it. Breakfast was very tasty. They also serve lunch plates, and at dinner there are pizzas and soups for an extra charge. We found them all delicious, and they’re a great option if you don’t want to head out at night. I’d happily recommend the place and would come back.

The staff made a real difference, always attentive, polite, and ready to help. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of fresh options. It’s also a lovely place to unwind and get away from the routine, very quiet, with comfortable, clean, cozy rooms. I had a wonderful stay and plan to return.
