Awful!!!!!

I booked through Decolar, and the photos in the app made the place look much better. The pousada itself is pretty, with a beachy feel, but simple. The room I got was dreadful, like a cell. The TV only gets SBT, the minibar is very noisy, the floor is made like an outdoor patio, and the bathroom has half a shower enclosure and half a curtain. Wi-Fi barely works. I searched on Google and found three names for it, Maresia, Bella Vita, and Caminho da Praia, all pointing to the same place. I didn’t really understand that. Breakfast was fine but basic, nothing special. There’s a pool. They say reception is open 24 hours, but late at night nobody was there and the doors were closed. I regretted choosing this place.

Noelia and Andrés deserve a special mention for helping us with all the problems we had. The staff's attention was excellent, and they were both so pleasant and kind. I’d only return for the staff and the location, which is what kept me there for the nights I had booked. The accommodation itself wouldn’t bring me back. The rooms are small, wires are exposed in the shower, and minor leaks caused by dirt lead to flooding. The photos don’t show the place accurately. It also needs fumigation urgently. I understand the pousada is near a wooded area, but the number of cockroaches was outrageous. They were inside the rooms and on the beds, which made the whole stay uncomfortable. The air conditioners and TVs need replacing with newer ones. Thanks to the staff for making our stay pleasant despite all this. You’re the only reason the pousada feels welcoming. The rest of the establishment needs a lot of work.

Noelia was the only bright spot for us. She was very kind and gave us excellent recommendations. The inn is at the bottom of a hill, where tour buses can’t get to it. The road to the beach is dark, and there are bars on that street where drunk people gather. Nothing happened to us, but it’s something to be aware of. The rooms were literally falling apart, with dilapidated infrastructure and a roof that leaked everywhere. It was noisy, and light came in from all sides because the place was so run-down. The pool water was completely gray, so you couldn’t see your body when you got in. You can ask for cleaning and towel changes every couple of days, but the towels were disgusting, stained, and small. Asking for cleaning seemed pointless, as the shower only got dirtier. Breakfast is served from 8 to 10. If you have an excursion and want breakfast, you can’t get it, even though everything is already laid out, including dairy products that had been sitting out and warming up for quite a while. They also wouldn’t set anything aside when we had to leave early, which is common in hotels worldwide. Everything was warm when you served yourself, the gelatin was runny, and so was the yogurt. If you like scrambled eggs, you can eat them with flies on them! Terrible. I wouldn’t recommend it or come back. I feel very sorry for the people who have to work there and deal with a place falling apart.
