The room had a comfortable king-size bed, working air conditioning, and a fan as well. Bedside tables on both sides and nearby outlets would have been handy, but that didn’t spoil our stay. One thing to know is that the parking isn’t private, so you have to leave the car on the sidewalk. That may matter if you need a secure place for your vehicle. Flat & Suítes da Mari operates a lot like an Airbnb: you get a key, and there’s no room service like at a traditional hotel. We had a great experience overall. The location in Búzios is excellent, close to beaches and a small local shopping area, and I’d consider staying there again.

Mari was very open to the suggestions we shared, like making towels available to take to the beach. The place was clean and airy, well located about halfway to everything, and the service was great. We had a very pleasant stay.

The suite I chose was cozy, with an incredible bed, and everything matched what I expected. The location is perfect, and it’s a calm, peaceful place. I’m very satisfied.
