Hospedaria Entre Amigos

A comfortable, cozy place to stay.

The breakfast was simple but okay, and service was good. Still, I wouldn't stay again because of the overall condition of the place. The outdoor area is pretty and the pool is large, though unheated. Our room was almost right up against the neighbors, with noise and no view. The inn was completely empty, but we still didn't get a view of the lovely garden. The room was tidy and cleaned every day, but everything felt very old. The air conditioner was old, and the mattresses were extremely worn, with frayed covers and poor comfort. There are old knick-knacks all over the inn that collect a lot of dust, along with a musty smell. My allergies flared up badly again.

The owners are friendly, but the value for money doesn't add up. There are other inns at the same price in better condition. The location is the one good thing; everything else needs a lot of work. They say there's parking, but the cars are left on the sidewalk, which is small and can't fit them all. If there's no space when you arrive, you'll have to pay for parking. Breakfast is meager and isn't replenished. If the cheese or juice runs out, that's it. The air conditioner was VERY dirty, and dust came out when I turned it on. My daughter had an allergy attack, and I had to buy medicine. Blankets are left exposed and covered in dust; the towels are rough and worn, and all the pillows had yellow stains and seemed full of mites. The mattress was old, misshapen foam. During our 4 days, the pool was never cleaned and had hair and sand in it. They say rooms are cleaned daily, but the worker only takes out the trash and makes the beds, without sweeping or dusting the furniture. At dawn it was impossible to sleep because the curtains don't cover the windows and there are no blackout curtains. The bathroom looks bad, the toilet seat is old, and a bad smell comes from the drain. I suspect the positive ratings are from friends and relatives.

The inn is beautiful, and the pool is its main attraction. Great place for a birthday celebration. Breakfast was delicious and the rooms were excellent. The service comes down to one person, but Elisângela is wonderful!
