The Wi-Fi was the one weak point. The pool area was okay, and the staff were fantastic and always cheerful and helpful. Their English is so-so, but that didn’t bother me since they were always willing to assist. It’s a cute Pousada in a somewhat remote spot, which adds to its charm.

The pool bar opened too late, and the room and sheets weren’t as clean as I expected. Breakfast was good, though, and the receptionists were very helpful. The location is reasonable: you can walk to the city’s main spots or take a cab for a decent price.

You’re very close to Ferradura beach, one of the best in Buzios. For the price, it hits a nice balance. It doesn’t have the luxury of Buzios’s 4-star hotels, but the staff are friendly and the rooms and service are adequate.

I was charged even though there was no prepayment, and after I cancelled the reservation I was told I’d only get 25% refunded. This was six months in advance. Scam artists!

The pool has a lovely natural view, and the hospitality was great. It’s near "Praia do Ferradura", which is my favorite beach in Buzios. Excellent, in a word.
