⚠️ Be careful about leaving belongings in view. ⚠️ A bracelet with deep personal meaning disappeared from the bedside table after the room was cleaned. Even though I was careful and kept my things put away, it still happened. Feeling so vulnerable is awful, especially somewhere you pay to feel safe. A very bad experience, and I don't recommend it.

The staff were incredibly kind, and the room was comfortable, with air conditioning and daily cleaning. It was spotless, and having a bidet was a must for us. The location worked well too, close to everything. We loved our stay and would happily come back.

I came to spend a weekend in Búzios with my wife and two grown kids, and ended up in a complete pigsty. The Booking photos must be from somewhere else, or from another century. The place reeked of mildew, the rooms were filthy, the sheets yellowed and smelly, and the bathroom was disgusting. The general condition was absolute rubbish. We only stayed that first night because we couldn't find anywhere else at that hour. After breakfast the next day, which was awful too, we left and will never come back. I was fooled. Stay away. They'd be better off tearing the place down and rebuilding it all.

The location is great, and breakfast and the staff were good points. Everything else was a mess. The place felt almost abandoned, with no maintenance, and during the rain water came through the electrical outlets. They moved us to a second room, where the same thing was happening. In the third room, we got locked in the bathroom. We gave up and asked for a refund through the booking app. There was a strong damp smell in both the rooms and bedding. We told the owner what had happened, but he didn't seem very interested. Such a shame. I don't recommend staying here.
