Mira Playa Geribá

The hosts were helpful and spoke fluent Spanish, so communication was easy. We found it safe to walk around, and it was easy to get everywhere on foot. Uber was inexpensive too: for example, a round trip to Azedha, 5 km away, cost $8-10 USD. The inn is three blocks from Praia do Geribá, and two blocks down the road to the beach there are local shops selling food and drinks at reasonable prices. It’s also four blocks from the main street connecting all of Buzios, with restaurants, supermarkets, and pharmacies. Our room was small for four, but the beds were comfortable, and the air conditioning and fan helped us sleep well. There was a terrace with a hammock where we could relax, plus a minibar, clothesline, and a spacious, comfortable bathroom with hot water at all times. Towels and linens were provided, and everything was very clean. The property has a lovely tropical garden, a nice pool, a hot tub, and several spots to sit and enjoy the fresh air and surroundings. Breakfast was plentiful, with fruit, juices, tea, coffee, milk, eggs, several kinds of bread, and pastries. The owners run the place, and our family had a very pleasant stay. 100% recommended.

The pool was a delight, and the place looked just like the photos. Monica, our attentive hostess, made sure every detail was taken care of. The breakfast was luxurious, the service incredible, and the value for money was great. Highly recommend it!

Check-in and check-out were both easy, and the pousada was easy to get to. We had an excellent stay at Mira Playa Geriba, with Monica always attentive and ready to help.

The street leads straight down to Geribá beach, and the pousada itself is wonderfully peaceful and clean. Monica was so kind, attentive, and helpful. I recommend it to everyone and would come back a thousand times!
