The setting is beautiful and cozy, with a lovely view, but the food was disappointing. We ordered pizza and it tasted like one from the freezer. This is a review of the restaurant.

We had a good time, and the hotel is well located with a nice view. The hosts and staff were welcoming and friendly. The standard room could use some maintenance after all these years: the bed was hard, the air conditioning loud, and the shower didn't work well. The windows are nice, but privacy meant keeping the curtains fully closed. A film on the glass would be a simple fix. I wouldn't pay more than $50 per night for a room here.

We loved our four-day stay with a child. The team was incredibly friendly and always ready to help. They provide beach chairs and umbrellas, which came in handy. We tried everything on the menu, and every dish was better than the last. Breakfast and lunch were both excellent and generous, and the caipirinha was delicious. We’ll definitely return.

There’s a fairly steep staircase to reach the pousada, so keep that in mind if mobility is an issue. I managed it despite my back problems. My room had a great view, even from the bathroom, and the staff who served us were very attentive. It’s a quiet place with an amazing breakfast, super close to beautiful Gerivá beach 😍. Everything was lovely, and I hope we can come back to explore the beaches I haven’t seen yet.
