The staff were great, and the house had a really good vibe, with nice people, good snacks, and Açaí. But this spot is definitely better for windsurfing than kitesurfing. The gusty, inconsistent wind from the front beach out to 200m made launching and landing difficult and potentially dangerous. Trees and house walls along the beach also make it a poor choice for beginner kite surfers, and sometimes challenging even for experienced ones. Praia rasa or somewhere farther down the beach would be better for kitesurfing. When I went, an instructor’s kite got wrecked in the trees during a lesson, though luckily he wasn’t hurt. It was very gusty that day, and I struggled to get back to shore and out of the water.

The sea view is amazing, right in front of you. It’s an exceptional spot for relaxing or doing sports.
